About 1770, most of their family moved to Mecklenburg Co, NC. From there, their son David MONTGOMERY (W4039) served in the Revolutionary War before moving to Burke Co, NC and marrying Margaret ALLEN. Their son Allen MONTGOMERY married Susannah LARGENT and settled in Cherokee, NC. Several of their children....
