Afro PixThe first known existing photograph of me was taken at 6 weeks. I know that because my mother wrote "Paula, 6 weeks old, Isn't she cute" on the back. However, the reality is that most of my family pictures are not identified because no ever took a few minutes to pencil in the names on the back. With three members of my parent's generation still left, I decided its time for me to identify and memorialize the people and stories I know for future generations to come. Thus, this blog. http://afropix.blogspot.com/ - last updated 1 Apr 2017 |
